Somatic Sessions

Body based and transpersonal healing for those ready to go deeper.

If life feels heavy, confusing, or overwhelming, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore your inner world and reconnect with your body's innate capacity for healing. Together, we will work at a pace that feels safe and supportive, helping you cultivate greater resilience, clarity, and connection.

Whether you're navigating a life transition, healing from past experiences, struggling with anxiety or overwhelm, or seeking deeper meaning and purpose, this work can help you come home to yourself.

Who this work is for:

You may be drawn to this work if you are:

  • Feeling stuck in recurring patterns in your relationships, career, health, or personal growth

  • Living with stress, anxiety, overwhelm, grief, or burnout

  • Healing from trauma, difficult life experiences, or childhood wounds

  • Seeking greater emotional resilience and nervous system regulation

  • Exploring questions of identity, purpose, spirituality, or personal transformation

  • Longing for a deeper connection with yourself, your body, and your intuition

  • Looking for a holistic approach that addresses mind, body, heart, and spirit

Many of my clients come to me after years of therapy, self-reflection, or personal development and are ready to move beyond insight alone—engaging the wisdom of the body and, for some, exploring sacred medicine as part of their healing journey.

What Somatic Facilitation Can Support:

Somatic work can help you:

  • Develop greater capacity to navigate stress and uncertainty

  • Build emotional resilience and self-trust

  • Improve boundaries and communication

  • Process grief, loss, and major life transitions

  • Heal patterns rooted in early attachment wounds

  • Cultivate self-compassion and inner safety

  • Deepen your connection to intuition, creativity, and purpose

  • Feel more present, grounded, and alive

Together, we explore not only your thoughts and experiences, but also what is happening in your body in the present moment.

Why the Body Matters:

Many of our experiences are stored not only as memories but also as patterns within the nervous system.

Even when we understand something intellectually, our bodies may still carry tension, protective responses, or unresolved experiences from the past.

Somatic work helps bring awareness to these patterns and supports the nervous system in finding greater flexibility, regulation, and ease.

By learning to listen to the body's signals, many people discover a deeper sense of safety, clarity, and connection.

What Happens in a Session?

No two sessions are exactly alike.

Each session is guided by what is most present and relevant for you in the moment.

Together we may explore:

  • Physical sensations and nervous system responses

  • Emotions and internal experiences

  • Patterns that arise in relationships and daily life

  • Breath awareness and mindfulness practices

  • Resources that support regulation and resilience

  • Meaning-making and spiritual exploration when appropriate

The goal is not to force change, but to create the conditions that allow healing and transformation to unfold naturally.

More Than Somatic Experiencing®

Somatic Experiencing® is a body-based approach to healing trauma and chronic stress that helps regulate the nervous system and restore a greater sense of safety, resilience, and well-being.

Somatic Experiencing® is one of the primary foundations of my work, but sessions are not limited to a single modality.

Drawing from my background in transpersonal psychology, somatic healing, psychedelic-assisted healing, yoga, meditation, bodywork, holistic health, and spiritual development, I tailor each session to the individual sitting in front of me.

This integrative approach allows us to address healing from multiple perspectives while honoring your unique needs, goals, and life experiences.

Healing Is a Process

Many people arrive hoping for a quick fix.

While meaningful shifts can happen quickly, deep healing often unfolds over time through consistent attention, practice, and support.

Rather than focusing on symptom management alone, this work aims to help create lasting change by addressing underlying patterns and cultivating new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.

Healing is rarely linear, but every step toward greater awareness and self-compassion matters.

About Josie

I hold a Master's degree in Transpersonal Psychology and have completed advanced training in Somatic Experiencing®, yoga, meditation, bodywork, health coaching, and psychedelic-assisted healing.

For more than two decades, I have been devoted to the study and practice of personal transformation, supporting individuals in reconnecting with their bodies, healing trauma, deepening spiritual connection, and living with greater authenticity.

My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through relationship, presence, and the body's innate wisdom.
