The Somatic Facilitation Blog
Writing on the body, the nervous system, trauma healing, and the path of becoming whole.
Somatic facilitation is a body-based approach to healing — one that works with the nervous system directly, rather than only through talk. This blog is where I write about what that actually looks like: what happens in a session, how trauma lives in the body, why healing isn't linear, and what it means to work with someone trained in Somatic Experiencing® and Transpersonal Psychology. I've been doing body-based and integrative work for over 17 years. Some weeks I write about the nervous system. Other weeks, I share reflections on trauma healing, spiritual growth, and what I’ve learned along the way — what surprised me, what challenged me, and what I wish someone had told me before I started this path. New posts every week.
